Privacy Policy

This site collects very little. Here is exactly what, why, and what you can do about it.

Last updated 12 September 2026

Who is responsible

Releasium operates releasium.com and is the controller for any personal data processed through it. For anything in this policy — questions, requests, complaints — write to hello@releasium.com.

What we process, and why

Delivering the pages

The site is static and served from Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). To send you a page, AWS receives your IP address, the address of the page, the time, and your browser's identification string. This is technically necessary to run a website and to protect it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Fonts, images and the product video are served from our own domain; no third party is involved in showing you the page.

Analytics — only if you agree

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages are read, how far people scroll, which links are followed and roughly where visitors come from. It runs only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent). Until then nothing is sent to Google and no analytics cookies are set. Google processes this data on our behalf; some of it is processed in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses. You can withdraw consent at any time from Cookie settings in the footer; the cookies involved are listed in the Cookie Policy.

When you contact us

The contact form does not send anything to our servers: it opens your own email program with the message pre-filled, and you decide whether to send it. When you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your request and, if we go on to work together, for as long as the contract and statutory record-keeping require (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Our mailbox is hosted by Google.

What we do not do

  • No advertising, no ad networks, no retargeting.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data with anyone for their own purposes.
  • No profiling or automated decisions about you.
  • No embedded social media or third-party video players.

How long we keep it

Event-level analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for two months — the default, which we have not extended — after which only aggregated reports remain. Email correspondence is kept as described above. Hosting logs are kept by AWS for the short period its services need to operate and secure the site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to give it to you in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that already took place. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, in particular the one in the country where you live or work.

To exercise any of these, email hello@releasium.com. We answer within one month.

Children

The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If the site starts doing something new with data, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. Material changes to what we ask consent for reset the cookie notice, so you are asked again.
